This is a simple yet fun book about a witch who needs pumpkins for the final decoration in her Halloween party. In spite of its being a simple story, I thought it was well done and my 2 and 4 year old kids enjoyed it very much. The pictures are well illustrated in a kind of watercolor style with vivid colors and age appropriately spooky themes. This is certainly a high quality book for how cheap it is, so it is well worth the price tag.

Just got this and my kids love it. My son likes Scully the Crow best in the book, especially the part when he says "Raaaw-some!" My daughter now wants to be Wanda the witch for Halloween.

My almost 3 year old grandson adored this book. He now describes pumpkins by their features when he sees them, and loves the 'gross and lovely' ones - just like Wanda! The book was illustrated quite well, and I would recommend this one to other parents and grandparents.

Toys is great for young kids, not too scary, but just scary enough. I'll read it to my 4 year old this Halloween. I bet is great for ages 3-preteen. Just ghoulish enough with no nightmares!
