    more from this reviewer

I really enjoyed this book! I just loved the plot and I've always loved sci-fi with that kind of ship. Though honestly I found a few of the characters to be incredibly annoying I could overlook it because I really like this book. And I guess they have room to grow, which I hope they do in the second book.

The characters are just so naive. Its unusual. I get being ignorant because of their past but I would think their previous situation would have made them more jaded and wary and less trusting and open to accepting strangers into their midst. I found it odd that it took a few...incidents (no spoilers for u) for them to realize that they shouldn't be so gullible.

Anyway other than that it was a really good book. There weren't very many editing mistakes that I remember. Even if there were mistakes they obviously weren't distracting enough to hinder my enjoyment of the story. I already bought the second book and I'm looking forward to seeing how the story and the characters develop.

Character's were interesting, but the story line could have been stronger.

    Easy read

This was an easy read that didn't require you to engage with either the plot or the characters. The premise of The Wanderer being such a miracle ship left very little room for tension or drama. I was intrigued enough that I will read some more of the author's work and hopefully future adventures of the cast of misfits will not be quite so predictable.

I enjoyed the book and read it in one sitting. There were a few grammar issues and a few run on sentences. This could have been taken care of with better editing. The story itself was fun to follow and I have since purchased the next two installments. I wish links could be provided so that errors could be politely be addressed to help clear up editing errors

    Hello

Excellent 245 page free science fiction book about a sientient space ship (on the lines of Maya with Pilot) and the crew that develops over time. Suggestions of sex but nothing explicit, and violence of battles for freedom.

This book is a fast read with a simple plot. Three slaves escape in a unique alien spaceship. Very little suspence, the main character is extremely naive, and connected to the miracle spaceship.
The ship can change shape, color, heal any injury even when one of the secondary character loses both feet.
I love reading SciFi and Fantasy novels but this story was just unbelievable, no drama, predictable occurrances and i was unable to relate to the characters.
If you want a quick simple story to read than this is the book. But if you want a book that has great character development, drama, a good plot than this book does not meet the challenge.
I won't be buying the sequels.

    Good read!

Good overcomes evils. Freedom versus slavery on a cosmic level. With a little romance thrown in. Nicely done. Will look for the second book.

    Exciting read!

Original ideas and twisty plotting make this a great read. Basically a slave, Jess was born in prison & treated as a prisoner - or a guinea pig for alien contraptions. By a fluke of luck, he and a couple of fellow prisoners are able to escape on an alien ship that has never responded to anyone before. And then the excitement begins!
