At first he was hesitant, but when he discovered that his country was in turmoil with foreign invaders landing their ships at Toulon, he decided to join the fight that a young and short Artillery Captain had set out before him.
From the start, you the reader voyage with Jean Pierre by sea and participate in fights by land. You will meet Napoleon in the beginning years of his rise to power as an Artillery Captain and work your way through victories in Italy, Malta, Egypt and a second campaign in Italy.
