Excerpt:

He had a feeling he knew what was coming next, and he was right.

Reid began to act more playful toward him and rested his tawny head along his charcoal back. Leon knew by now the meaning behind such a simple move since they all adopted certain wolf behaviors over the years, including similar “breeding” habits.

Leon pointedly moved away from Reid, his tail arched high to show dominance. After a moment of just sitting there, Reid followed after Leon again and began to playfully paw at him, trying to entice him to “dance.”

Of course, by now, the rest of the pack had stopped playing and were just staring. Behind wolf eyes, human fascination (and jealousy) was sure to be festering.
