Riveting twist and turns on every page. A continuing awesome page turner that was hard to put down. I read the whole book in three days. Excellent characters that are evolving in every book in this series. Hope to see Leopold travel the globe solving murders with his excellent mind and his personal geographical descriptions. Helps the reader to do a little mind traveling and get to see how the rest of the world's P.D's solve their unusual and macabre murders with the ever helpful Leopold Blake:-)

I had no desire to put this book down, I was not riveted to the edge of my seat the whole time, but it was interesting. I liked the witty banter between the characters. I think I need to read more of the series to understand the relationships, I was not sure what the deal was between the Sargent and Leopold.

Well written, although the proofreaders missed several dropped prepositions. Still, great storytelling is a gift. Off to check out other books in this series. Kitt :)

This book has a lot of action. Probably a bit more than most. But it leaves the reader with a lot of loose ends. We don't know why the policewoman went to Paris - supposedly for a vacation, but clearly not. We don't know why the assassin was following the policewoman when he clearly says later on that he doesn't know who she is! The book is full of things like this. Why did the character do this? Who are they and how are they connected? Overall, not a bad read but I found it wanting.

Really interesting story. Intelligently written except for about a dozen missing words. Really...where are the editors for ebooks?

Unlike some reviewers, I was actually able to see the connection w/ the operatives on the ship, but that needed to be better clarified. It was a little too predictable but overall a good read.
