A must read book for anyone who enjoys exploring submarine warfare. The auther covers all Allied and Axis submarine design details, strategies and tactics, interwoven with actual battle reports over the period of the early '30's until the end of the war. Reading actual battle reports of the captains, along with personal details of the men who sailed with them, gives a greater appreciation for the difficulties and dangers that those men faced, regardless of which side you come down on. This is a book that you'll come back to, time and again to re-read.
