One of the the all time greatest novels.

This is the complete book, i have read other reviews from other books and the said there NOOK books were incomplete.

I first found this book in the library and didn't think much of it: a small, worn thing, bound in battered blue leather. Nothing but the faded gilt words of the title on the front. I vaguely remembered that there was a movie made about it, but I had no idea what the story was about. Little did I know, it turned out to be a deeply moving coming-of-age story, on par with The Catcher in the Rye and The Wars. It's the story of a twenty-year-old soldier, not much more than a boy, who struggles between his duty as a soldier and his own value for life, regardless of which side of the trenches it comes from. The novel is quietly poignant and at times devastating, with moments of beauty and horror that could only have been told by someone as an actual witness of that war. A true classic.

I liked War and Peace. I may have actually liked the idea of reading and being able to say I read War and Peace more than I actually enjoyed reading it. I liked the storyline, but I wasn’t ready for all of the philosophy Leo Tolstoy talked about.
I thought the characters were great. I thought their lives were very interesting and I loved who they all intertwined. Although there were a lot of characters, by the end I was able to keep them all straight. At first the book was confusing because I got the characters confused but once I straightened them out, I liked the characters.
I was never able to guess what was going to happen in the book. The plot was very interesting. Whenever I thought a person was going to do something but then they didn’t. Whenever I thought someone was going to fall in love with this person, they fell in love with another person.
I would recommend this book to someone who either really likes philosophy or an adult. While I liked the storyline, many chapters were full of battle plans and strategy or philosophy. I would probably not recommend this book to a high scholar because it is very long and can be dreary sometimes. My favorite part was the First Epilogue because some very interesting things happened then.
I would give this book an 7 out of 10. I wouldn’t recommend this book more for guys or girls. This book is very gender friendly because it has love and wars in it. The bad parts to the book in my opinion was the length of the book (about one thousand one hundred ten pages), the philosophic parts of the books (about 4 or 5 chapters full), and the battle descriptions and the battle strategy part of the book (about another 4 or 5 chapters full). The positive to the book was the story line. There were many people who find true love, great battles with cannons and guns, and great many important people in the book. It talks about the great Tsar Alexander, and how he was loved yet very young among his people. It talks about the richest people in Russia and, the poorest. It’s about love and hate. War and Peace is full of young people and old people. This book is literally about war and peace and is wonderful because of that.

Aero snoozes. Straightshot gets conked by the small metal ball on a wire. Bluefire and Star patroll for any stray cons.
