About the Author

Raconteur, veteran, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Villi Vulikh was born in Odessa in the Soviet Union, where he lived until his immigration to California in 1990. During his Red Army service, he earned two medals -- one for his particular heroism in the climactic Battle of Stalingrad that ensured Hitler's surrender.
