Fun, Educational and a Must Have for Collectors!

First off I must admit to reading and owning a LOT of books on jewelry ( and owning, a very, sometimes overwhelmingly, large collection of jewelry of all types, fine and costume- mostly vintage with a smidgeon of modern designers as well). I adore the way this book blends "Vintage" costume as well as the "Real" thing making and showing each as desireable as the other without a hint of snobbiness towards either one. As a member of Costume Jewelry Collectors International (CJCI), I can wholeheartedly endorse this book. It's a great little book for reference and I take it everywhere with me. Don't hesitate to purchase and use this informational guide. I've referred to it more than once for research purposes and am certain you'll do the same. I only wish it were a smidge more detailed and longer, but that is the case with most well written books. I look forward to more from this author and hope the books will be available in digital form, with as lovely pictures as this one.

    Fun Informative and Beautifully Illistrated

If you love jewelry and know a lot about it, you will love this book and and enjoy the fantastic interviews, great photos, and interesting history on quite a few types of jewelry. Also, if you would like to find out what type of jewelry appeals to you and also some facts about Pearls, Siver, Jadeite, period jewelry, art jewelry, bakelite bangles,
costume jewelry, black diamonds and more~then this book is "for you". I just love this book and I've gazed at it every day for weeks.
If you get a chance to look at a copy you will want to purchase it. I have spent many hours enjoying all the chapters and love looking at the photos over and over again. They are so real, you actually think you can reach down and pick a peice of jewelry from the pages. Get a copy and
    enjoy!

    Warman's Jewelry by Kathy Flood

This one is a valuable resource that becomes an exciting and enjoyable favorite read! The genres are beautifully layed out as a chronological story with history and photos that bring the jewelry to life! Kathy Flood's intriguing writing style paired with such an elegant subject create an added value not reflected in the price!
