    Entertaining

Writing Style a little juvenile but all in all entertaining series so far! It keeps me reading...can't put it down. And by the way Barnes and Noble DOES carry the entire series.

    Great Series

I've really enjoyed this series so far. There's a little of everything - fantasy, sci-fi, excitement and friendship. Brian Pratt does a good job describing what is happening - if you are a visual reader - you will definitely get some great "pictures" in your mind of what is happening with this story.

    Great series

The fact that he never descibes how the main character looks, is an appeal to me cause i imagine myself as james, which fully immersed in the story.

    Nice read

This is book 3 in the series. Book 2 is not carried by B&N for some reason. I enjoyed book 2 as well as this one. The writing style is different from other authors. And at times I find it a little difficult to follow. There are several places where the author jumps from telling the story from one characters point of view to another without any warning. It isn't until you are several sentences into the paragraph when you realize that you aren't where you thought you should be.

Even with that flaw, I find the story refreshing. And the story telling entertaining.

all i can say is OMG this is awesome

this entire series is fabulous. it is hard to put them down without wondering what is going to happen next. i am not one to read out of my normal genre, but my husband downloaded the free one and i thought it was one of mine.i read it and got hooked right away. 3 days later i am finishing this book and it has me as hooked as the first one. i like the story line ,the characters and they way they flow together. thank you mr pratt for the series, who knows i might just continue reading all of your works.

The stories he's telling are fairly good, but the grammar is atrocious. Feels like I'm reading a twelve year old's writing. You'd think that after having written a few books, he'd take a class or something to make his writing better. I have read several of his books, and they are all the same - fairly good storyline but horrible grammar. I've read enough of this writer's books.

    Good read

The plot and characters are great and it keeps you wanting more. The only negative I can see is the odd phrasing throughout the books. The author over uses the word "upon" and it makes the reading not flow as well as it should. Over all I like the book just wish he would change his choice of wording sometimes.

    Great read.

The writing is a little juvenile, but keeps your head wrapped into what is next! I am glad i picked it up. A lot of action and adventure. But a feeling of lord of the rings, with a mix of assassins creed for you gamers out there.
