Overview

How far would you go to save the ones you love?

Having successfully hidden her abilities from humans for two hundred years, Briet applies her Guardian gifts to help patients in need. Until she meets her human soul mate, Jason Ballard, who holds the reins to Briet's patients' cancer protocol. Can she trust a man all too human and grounded in his world to understand hers? Yet, when a deadly threat targets her patients, he is the only one she trusts to help stop an evil that only the Guardians can fight.

Rules delineate every facet of Jason's professional and personal life. The last thing he expects is to find temptation in the new spitfire doctor on his latest test team. Especially as she starts stirring up issues. Dangerous issues. Issues flagging jeopardy for the lives of the children in the test. Issues his employer, would prefer be ignored. Honor forces Jason to walk a dangerous line between job and conscience as he joins with Briet to ferret out the twisted scheme in time to save her patients. In a final life-altering decision, he will risk every careful plan he's ever made for the woman he values more than life itself.

THE GUARDIANS OF EDEN:
A race of beings created in a Sanctum at the far edge of Eden. Co-existing with mankind, they safeguarded human souls and the promise of eternity--until a virus killed all over the age of eighteen. The surviving children fled to the Sanctum for protection, children raising children without the full legacy of their history and knowledge. Two hundred years of solitude have produced a race of semi-immortals fortified with powers and intellect but lacking the mates who will make them whole and allow them to fulfill their covenant with mankind.

The third in the Guardian of Eden series opens the world of Tsu

The third in the Guardian of Eden series opens the world of Tsu and his sister Quan, the Guardians that have taken on the task of healing the broken. Quan runs a sanctuary for women that have had dire circumstances befall them. She offers them a place of safety, a place to heal. She wants nothing more than to have her brother at her side in this endeavor.
Tsu, the younger brother, loves his sister and sees the sanctuary as a place to start the healing for these women to return to be productive, and whole citizens of the world.
Jai is a complex human. Her life has been far from easy. Filled with secret she’s compartmentalized herself building walls and layers of protection. The only thing she truly desires is to find her daughter that was ripped from her by her family.
These three come together, in a tale that is tightly woven. The depth of character development, and the way these three intertwine leads the reader through some of the hardest situations for a mother to go through.
I absolutely could not put the book down. I read until my eyes crossed and I still wanted more!

    Guardians succeed again!

Second in the series is a good follow-on. Another good tale! Following the female Guardian, Briet, delivered on the distaff side of the brotherhood, but each of LeMoyne’s books seems to deliver the most perspective from the ‘new mate’, in this case Jason Ballard. We get to see these other beings through his eyes as he learns and adapts. Again the romance is well paced with the main mystery in the story, though all is not wrapped up with the Guardian problems in the end of this book #2. I went on to read both book 2 and 3 in a long weekend and enjoyed seeing how the Guardians are evolving in this series.

Warrior Reborn Book 2 of Guardians of Eden. K.H. Lemoyne.

    Paranormal Romance.
Briet is a female Guardian of Eden. She was out in the human world trying to make a difference while the other female guardians were in a cryo sleep. She has been hiding her abilities and working in the medical field. A cancer trial for children comes up and she wants in. She meets Jason Ballard. He is her mate. Jason works for the company holding the drug trial. He has some issues of his own, but can't seem to stay away from Briet. He ends up finding excuses just to see her.

I love that they are fighting to stay away from each other but can't. Someone is after Briet but why? They end up fighting together to protect the children of the trial. Lots of twists and turns and romance. The relationship is different from the first story and Briet thinks so too.

I recommend this series and this story. I really liked it. It keeps you wanting to read more and I found myself asleep with my nook.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review

I was eager to read what happens next to the characters afer the first book. I have wondered about whom story will tell this time. I had few guesses but I hadn't guess it right. I was pleasantly surprised about it. Now I wonder why I haven't thought about this one character.

This book was different than the first one. At first it was more like a romantic story but it got more and more intense with each chapter and eventually I was sitting on the edge of my seat. It was a wonderful sequel for a wonderful first book. It was different, had it's own taste and I liked it a lot. There were new secrets coming out and new dangers to be defeated. But at the same time there were relationships forming and feelings evolving. And all of this was nicely put together creating interesting and involving story.

I loved reading this book and meeting all these characters I have grown fond of again. And I want to read more of it. Now I'm guessing what will happen next in the story.

Warrior Reborn (The Guardians of Eden #2)

I received this book for free, in exchange for a review.

Now, the story moves onto Briet, one of the female members, of the Guardian race. While all of the other women were in cryo, Briet was on the outside, trying to learn and make a difference. The arena that she works in is the medical field and she is highly regarded, though not a permanent member, at any particular place. When the opportunity comes along, to be in a testing group, for a new drug comes along, she is of course involved. It's a testing for children, who have cancer and this is the one thing in life she is set on helping. But, along the way, she does find her mate, in the most unexpected of areas, the coordinator, for the company performing the testing. Jason has his dark past, but he sees Briet for a shining light.

'She refused to break down the walls he'd erected against the fear he carries, a fear reinforced through harsh years. Fears convincing him that he had the potential to abuse and destroy those he loved. She refused to manipulate him for her own benefit, or those needs of her people, no matter the cost. No matter what their fate, he deserved her support, that and her love were the two things she could give him in abundance.'

I think this story may be even better than the first one! It subject matter was very interesting and was very personal. Again, good character development and very easy read. Can't wait to start the next one!

Although LeMoyne picks up the storyline from the first novel in

Although LeMoyne picks up the storyline from the first novel in this series, she weaves it into a completely new tale that you cannot put down. LeMoyne continues with the same unique writing style that suits her storytelling so well. Her descriptions remain phenomenal and you cannot help but picture each and every scene that she lays before you. You end up walking through the world that she creates rather than reading about it.

I enjoy the fact that the bulk of the characters in this novel are really and truly good people. They go out of their way to help other people and to be true to themselves. They are very well developed individuals to boot. Although they are further developed in this novel, they are also consistent with the characters developed in the first novel in the series. Each character is developed on its own, with its own merits and character flaws. That’s right, no one is perfect, they’re just real and quite unique. The variability and versatility of these characters leads to a very interesting read. You can also see and feel real family interactions between the characters. They prove the old adage that family is more than just blood.

I greatly appreciate the time and detail that has gone in to developing the concept of mates, without sacrificing the flow and pace of the story itself. I like that the mated couples have the same issues that real couple have, with a few added ones based on their powers and lives. Life isn’t perfect just because they have mated. They still have to make it work. They are true couples in all senses of the word, not just two people who magically become perfect and develop perfect lives simply because they met.

LeMoyne manages to pull you so deeply into her novels that you don’t ever want to get back out. I fell in love right along with Briet in this novel. I can’t wait to dive back into this world along with everyone!

    K.H. LeMoyne
    Warrior Reborn
    The Guardians of Eden #2

After reading book one of the series, I couldn’t wait to start reading this book and I was far from disappointed, if anything I fell in love with the series more. Incredibly well written, the reader is allowed to get to know the characters, and see how the relationship develops rather than jump straight into love at first sight. Both Briet and Jason are strong characters, used to being independent but soon learn working together gets better results. When Briet is poisoned the depth of Jason’s feelings shine through, leaving the reader breathless. All of the Guardians are special in their own way, and I would happily read each of their stories separately.

I received an e-copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
