Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Mary Quattlebaum
This is a well-done interactive book. It includes short descriptions of many sites, photos, games, puzzles, and maps. Bluestone and Irwin have done a marvelous job of compiling fun facts and figures. My favorite was a "Find the Clues" Q & A column after the entry on the FBI. Coupled with the knowledge that the FBI has more than 176,000,000 fingerprints on file.
Family Circle
...a good source for pre-trip planning.
Washington Post
Designed for children themselves - jazzed up with a variety of intriguing games, puzzles, quizzes and the like - the book is packed with information about the best places to go and the most interesting things to do in this activity-filled city...a useful pre-trip primer and a handy carry-around reference for the young explorer.
