Watchtower was a very good book. It keeps the reader wanting more. It is told through the eyes of Ryke, a 27 year old man at Tornor keep. After Tornor is overrun by southern invaders, he must become watch commander to his enemy, Col Istor, if he refuses, the prince of the keep will be killed. He and the prince, Errel, must find a way to reclaim the keep. THis story is enthrolling, you find yourself unable to stop thinking about it. Lynns elaborate descriptions of the world of Arun are breathtaking. Her characters are powerful, with strength and dignity. When you read it, you feel sad with them, or happy with them. You find your self in the story. I very highly reccomend this story.
