I have read this book 50 times, my copy looks as worn as it could be. I have given as gift to celebrate life as well to those looking for a path. No matter what you believe it is an amazing journey.

Way of the Peaceful Warrior is a fantastic story of a young man and his personal and spiritual journey. The characters Dan and Socrates are especially enjoyable. I first read this book in 1991 and have owned and shared many copies since then. It is my favorite gift book because it has something for every reader. Thank you Dan Millman for sharing your story.

Peaceful was given to me by a friend. Now that friend is my husband. We are true belivers in Dan Millman's Peacful Warrior. We have a highlighted version that we keep at home to refrence on whenever we are feeling blah. We read the book at least twice a year, and we also have read the second book.It is truly an inspiring piece of literature. We buy copies and give them out randomly to people that can use some insperation in their life. We have never had negative feedback from those people. Hopefully you will get the same insperation that we have from this book. We all need to atleast try to be 'Peaceful Warriors'

There are a few books in my life that I can honestly say changed everything. I think too often we never realize that we are dreaming and that we in turn miss so much of life. This book enabled me to see that.

What is the meaning of life? (What does it mean to live?) What happens in death? What is enlightenment? All answered along with jumping up on to petrol stations! The book that changes lives; or just reminds us of life as it Is in reality without our own illusive perceptions. Outstanding book, don't think, act and enjoy The Way of the Peaceful Warrior now and now again!

I was at my friends house when I looked and spotted this book. I asked him what it was about. He didn't really give me a response. So, I went out and bought it. I enjoyed it so much it fulfilled my life. I feel that I don't need to reach for anything. It is right here in front of me. That is what Socrates teaches Dan and me. Read it I recommend it.

This is one truly wonderful story of an ordinary man with extraordinary experiences. It's written with such beautiful, clear prose; the author's voice really captured me into the story. If nothing else, it changed the way I view the world. If you want something that both entertains and enlightens, give this book a try!
