Overview

Some people may age gracefully while others may not.The following advice will help you feel young for a longer period of time possible.

Be very careful and avoid falls. Falling down is the main source of serious damage to aging bodies. Walking for thirty minutes, for only thirty minutes, is a great way to improve balance and maintain physical fitness. To lower your risk of fractures, you need to increase bone density by not only doing weight training, and take calcium along with vitamin D to increase bone density.

Exercise is even more important as you age. Even though your running tempo may be slower than it was in your younger years and the amount of weight you can lift has lessen, you are still able to do exercises that will increase your heart rate. Walking is a great exercise almost anyone can be easy to do. Try some stretches you can perform at home. Go for a bike riding with your grandkids. There are many fun ways that you can make exercising more fun.
