Meet the Author

I wrote a book last year called "Schmitty Love" and it won best Short story E-Lit Award..In fact two gold medallions - Best writing/ best web-site..This new book is a much greater endeavor not only in content but in length..Most people who have read "We Get Harder To LOve" are really loving it.......It seems that I write in the same manner in which I speak..Now I don't know that I speak in any sort of special way but my background is Music and Film so that has to have an effect on the pacing and delivery of my writing ideas ..Being in Advertising for thirty years ,I've witnessed some very strange and crazy odd behavior.I've worked on many videos ..Three of them are in the M.T.V. Top Ten Video Hall Of Fame ....In fact, I was inducted into the Film Editing Hall Of Fame a few years ago...There are only fifteen or so in this Society so I guess I must have been a pretty good film editor...Writing books ,it seems to me,comes fairly easy....It's not very different than it is constructing a story on film..There is a beat to the words..A tapping of intonations that the words sound like...It's a combo of film and music strung together to some mental click track...It's all about the pacing...And It's also a painting An art directed typing structure that reinforces those words..What great fun !! I live on the ocean which adds so much to the finished picture In this case the picture is called "We Get Harder To LOve.....Best billy williams"
