About the Author

Cecil Castellucci is the author of books and graphic novels for young adults including The Year of the Beasts, Boy Proof, The Plain Janes, and First Day on Earth. She is the YA editor of the Los Angeles Review of Books and Children's Correspondence Coordinator for The Rumpus. Her recent books include a graphic novel illustrated by Sara Varon, Odd Duck, published by First Second Books.


Cecil Castellucci's books include Boy Proof (Candlewick, 2005), The Plain Janes (Minx/DC Comics, 2007), The Year of the Beasts (Roaring Brook, 2012), and Tin Star (a 2015 Sunburst Award Winner).
