There is much to discover during our daily forays in this greatest show OFF Earth, and this book is an excellent invitation to look up and learn.

Just enough facts and science... just enough fun, this is a great read for students and even adults. Rich with trivia and history, this is a great resource for any kid who has a budding interest in weather, covering all seasons. I wish I had this book when I was looking out the window as a kid asking myself 'why is this happening?'. A bright extended forecast for 'Weather Facts and Fun'!
Harvey Leonard

Excellent! Well written! Highly recommend this book!

My boys are in 1st & 5th grade and love learning about weather facts, so I purchased this book because I thought it would be fun and interesting...I wasn't aware how educational it would be as well!! We've already read though the entire book (which they both loved!) and now we're going to go through each chapter one step at a time and really study it as well as complete the activities thoughout each chapter. The best part is that because it's written specifically about NH weather, it's even more attention grabbing than regular weather books. 'Weather' (that was a pun folks) you homeschool, you're a classroom teacher or your kids just love learnging about NH weather...I would definately recommend this book!!

I learned a lot and so did my kids!

I am a mom of 2 kids, age 7 and 10 and they both loved this book. My kids (especially the older one) are hit and miss when it comes to books... they both took to this one, partly because we all watch Josh Judge on TV doing the weather all the time. Because of this, they really wanted to read it and they thought it was "cool" to be reading a book from the guy they watch all the time.

The reading level and explanations were perfect not only for kids, but for me too, ha! We learned a lot and also loved how it seemed like this book was written for us since it seems to be all about New England weather. We especially liked reading about Noreaster storms and tornadoes.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has kids and even adults who love weather and want to learn more about it.

I love the format, easy to read, double spaced and well organized and thought out. It spoke nicely to NH and New England weather and the photos were great!

Since it meets all the NH state requirements for weather, it is an affordable resource for classrooms. As a fourth grade teacher, I found it covered all Weather concepts in our curriculum unit. I especially enjoyed the weather symbols and the interpretation of what they mean. I think the kids will really like learning those and I plan to add that to my year long weather study. We do some charting of temps etc. but it is nice to see the weather map. The interesting facts were "sprinkled" throughout the book to keep the interest level up. All in all...WOW...one of the best non-fiction formats I've see for kids over the years.
