    Highly recommended

    I was very pleasantly suprised to discover how easy it was for a beginner like myself, with NO web site experience, to follow the directions in this book to set up and operate your own website. Lacking a mentor at your side, I feel this book is the next best thing for beginners, like myself. Highly recommended!

    Comprehensive, Easy to Understand Directions for the Not-so-tech savvy

    This book gave me a solid understanding of what goes into building a web-site. It answered my questions about what many of the terms mean, like the difference between a domain and a server, and provided ideas for a variety of types of websites, all without making me feel stupid. I like the step by step format, and I appreciate the graphics which warn of important points, helpful tips, and things to remember. Janine Warner also includes information about blogging, and using the web site for business purposes. I found this a very helpful book, exactly what I was looking for.
