Welcome to Angel Island…Its captivating spirit can be felt from the shores of its windswept beaches to the heights of the spectacular Angel Wings Cliffs. The island is said to harbor angels who help guide the lost, delivering them from despair and darkness into the golden light of love and faith.

The inn is open for business, and owner Liza Martin has booked her first event—a wedding—even though renovations aren’t completed. This brings more of attractive handyman Daniel Merritt into her life, but as Liza starts falling for him, she learns that Daniel is a man with secrets.

Liza doesn’t have time to dwell on her love life with all the wedding preparations taking place. She wants to make the event perfect, but the growing tension between the couple worries her. On the day of the wedding a storm rolls in—and the groom disappears. Everything is going wrong, and Liza needs a miracle. But, if you have faith and love, Angel Island is the sort of place where miracles can happen…

So far this series is as good as the Cape Light series. Can't wait for book # 3 to be delivered.

I have been slowly collecting Thomas Kinkade / Katherine Spencer books. I figured since he is an artist and a great one how bad could his books be? Well, I loved this book. It was a beautiful story and in most parts of the book you will smile. The authors have a very nice series going on here. Take this one on vacation with you!

I enjoy the Kinkade/Spencer books and this one was no exception. Now that Thomas Kinkade has sadly passed away, I wonder what will happen with future books. It annoys me that authors are still published well after they have gone Home. I hope Katherine can sustain the Cape Light series with the same quality writing that has been demonstrated in previous books.

I've loved all of Thomas Kinkade's books with Katherine Spencer. Just as with his art, his stories make you feel as though you are stepping right inside the world of the characters. The stories are always sweet, uplifting and inspirational. This book had a great message about marriage and relationships in general. I look forward to book three in this series...glad one more book of this team's wonderful stories was released before his passing, and sad there can be no real closure to this series without Thomas and his creativity to continue on. Don't miss their books, they really are wonderful.

This is the 2nd book in the Angel Island Series. Lisa has just "inherited" the Inn at Angel Island after her Aunt Elizabeth's death. Claire is the cook, awesome cook! Jennifer and Kyle high school sweethearts had met at Angel Island Inn and they are getting married and wanting the wedding there. They had met Aunt Elizabeth and she told them they were destind to be married. They are wanting a small wedding but Sylvia, Jen's Mom, wants it different. Extensive remoldeling needs to be done at the Inn and Daniel is helping Lisa with that. Lisa is newly divorced but Daniel meets her and there is a bond between them. Only problem Daniel is very private and will not disclose anything much of his life which leads to Lisa at a loss. Jen & Kyle are making plans, meeting with Rev. Ben but a problem is taking shape. Kyle is up for a job promotion which will lead to them moving to N.Y. instead of Boston & taking them away from their families. 2 days before wedding Kyle tells Jen he is taking the job, resulting in a major fight, and Kyle not being heard of or seen until the day of wedding (at the last minute). Jen knew he would return but they had to settle things. Storm arises, Jen & Kyle run to a cave on the island, talk things out, decide to move to N.Y> and start their life as an adventure but together. The wedding takes place, Daniel and Lisa "pick back Up." Lisa is in town days after the wedding and discovers that Daniel is a doctor. On their way back to the Inn he stops truck and explains that he is a doctor, but in earlier days he had made a bad decision at E.R. and he just had not gotten over that. Lisa explains that she loves him no matter what. He loves her, so I'm thinking book 3 will be about them! The legend is being married at Angel Island, the angels bless your wedding. So will this hold true? Seems to have worked for Jen & Kyle now what is going to happen with Lisa and Daniel??? Awesome book.
