Overview

Every minute of every hour a boy meets a girl, and a romantic, sexual interlude happens. It s nothing special that is unless how it happens and most of all , where it happens.

On April 17, 1987, approximately 5:17 P.M., for the first time in their relationship, Cio and Rita were not only alone with each other, but Cio became the first man in the entire history of the U.S. not to break out of a U.S., Federal Penitentiary to be with his woman, but rather Rita became the first woman in the history of the U.S. to break into a prison to be with her man.

Weekend With Rita, is erotic, hilariously funny, satirically dark and at times both emotionally and sexually raw and physically brutal.

Weekend With Rita exposes the human spirit and the drama of a man and a woman in love, who refused to allow a system built on emotional deprivation to separate them and the ultimate price they had to pay for their union.

Weekend With Rita is for anyone who has ever loved another and experienced the agonizing pains of separation, desperation and the willingness to pay whatever the price to be together for a lifetime spent in one weekend.

    Written by a complete amateur

Who wrote this book an 8th grader with autism? It was a waste of time, money, and energy. A complete waste of time, I looked up the guy and he is a complete and utter fraud.

Must add this to yur reading list.

If you like day to day people details this is a keeper. The characters completely come alive from the first page to the last. Not your typical romance, but rather firey. A very enjoyable read that is fun to share with friends.

    Daring, Erotic and Romantic

In novels, plays and movies the erotic romantic themes of the last twenty years have become both trite and worn, until now. 'Weekend With Rita' has broken the shackles of mediocrity and given us a anti-hero whom not only chanllenges the status-quo but also, in lieu of the fact it is non-fiction, gives the reader a true account in what was given in the name of love; as well a sense of introspection. The reader must ask him or herself: 'Would anyone of us venture and give so much, jeapordize so much to be with the one we love?' 'Weekend With Rita' is for anyone who wishes to examine themselves and the love they think they feel for someone else. 'Weekend With Rita' demands professional review.

    rave for CIO!!!!

I had read this book in it's manuscript form and enjoyed it in it's current form just as much.......Having known the author for many years now, I can truly say that this book is like looking into his soul.......I await a new book from him like a lonely soul awaits for companionship.

The core of the human heart and soul revealed

In every generation a writer comes along who is not afraid of beaking the shackles of the status quo. S. Cio Burrell has woven a a story around events and characters and anti-heroes that challenges the contemporary writers of today. The story itself is as shocking as it is emotionally moving. It is far more than a love story, it trumpets the human spirit. WEEKEND WITH RITA, is a story/book deserving of professional review.

    Real, Raw, Erotic and Passionate

A book with all the above. Realism, I want to know more about Cio and his life. Raw, the reader gets an inside glimpse of life behind bars and the despair one faces. Erotic, the story got my blood running. Passion, in life and in love, to go the distance and take a chance that could have been disastrous for both. Easy, fast and enjoyable reading.

One of the BEST READS I've had in a WHILE!!

FINALLY, A BOOK WORTH THE TIME IT TAKES TO READ IT!! I found this book to be BOTH emotionally deep, yet EASY TO READ. That's a hard combination to find in any situation!! The author took me in so easily, that I didn't want the book to end. Although the story is a reality for HIM, it became a fantasy for ME!! PLEASE KEEP THE BOOKS COMING!! I am anxiously awaiting another Title by this author!!
