Meet the Author

Dr. Nick Nicholson has a driving compassion for people suffering from obesity, and was one of the pioneers of weight loss surgery. He’s performed over 10,000 bariatric procedures, has been called upon by Johnson & Johnson and W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. to instruct surgeons on the use of their products in bariatric surgery, and is a nationally recognized expert on obesity and its treatment. He and his wife live in Dallas, Texas, with their two sons and their goldendoodle, Dixie.

B. A. Blackwood is a trial lawyer, a marathon runner, and the author of the young adult fantasy fiction Siren Song trilogy. She splits her time between Dallas, Texas, and Bozeman, Montana, where she lives with her husband and their three pugs, Waldo, Jonesy, and Lottie.
