    I usually dont respect exercise books written by women but she knows her stuff

    Several years ago I lost a huge amount of weight fast. I went from 350 to around 185 in around a year. Needless to say I had alot of loose skin. I was desperate to tone it up. I dont know why I chose her book but it was a great day for me because when I followed her advice I noticed within a month I was getting nice results. But what really amazed me was after three or four months I started to have better shoulders and that beautiful V look men want. I had better results with her advice than I had when I was in basic training in the Army. In fact the Army never made me look as cut as she got me to look. I lost the book a couple of years ago but now Im hunting it down for a christmas present for a young friend who is getting down about his looks now. Definitely worth buying again if you lose your first copy!

    When nothing else worked...

    After failing at diets, aerobics, and other types of exercises, I was ready to give up. I love to eat and I didn't want to give up eating. I saw information about this author on a website, I liked what I read and decided to give it a try. I have been lifting weights for four weeks now, and I cannot tell you how excited I am with the difference I see in my body. The way the book is written offers lots of encouragement, is very easy to understand, and it takes you step by step. This book is definitely for those of us who thought would never be caught lifting weights. I'm on my way to slimming down......YES!

    What Joyce Promises is Real!

    This is a great book! i've read about 4 of joyce's books and this is my favorite so far. I am doing a set of her videos and could see changes after 8 workouts! if you DO any of joyce's programs you will get fit. i plan to follow joyce's plans for the rest of my life. i've tried every diet and excercise plan on earth and this is the only one that does everything for you! it's not easy though, it's hard work! you will get results though! also, joyce will personally answer e-mail. who else does that?

    Great, usefull book

    I bought this book when my local gym closed down. I was looking for a program that hit every body part and was easy to do at home. This book fits the bill. I bought an inclining weight bench and the weights needed and that is all. I have been using the system for about six months and have had very noticable results in the way of looking more toned and less flabby. The system is flexible and offers enough variety to keep it from being boring. Also after learning all of the exercises it only takes 30-45 minutes per session, my old workout took 2 hours per session, I call that a great improvement. After seeing the great results I have had, my husband has started working out with me. This system is adaptable for guys too. If you want to be toned and fit this book will certainly help.

    I love Joyce

    I was so thankful that I found Joyce Vedral online. I have not read this book yet, but I did purchase the videos weight training made easier set. I have been doing it for 4 weeks and can see definition forming in my stomach, shoulders and arms. My legs are getting harder and do not jiggle as much when I walk. My butt is also tighter. I love this workout and have made it a part of my life. After 6 months or so I will try the definition workout as Joyce suggested.

    Don't bother.

    Ms. Vedral's claims are puffery and her research is outdated. This is a veiled high carb/low protein diet book with a few sets of very old body part exercises that have been over since the eighties. In seven months, my body was transformed from fat then to fat now . There are tons of new books out there, written by experts. Why waste your money on one written by an English major?
