About the Author

I’m Ed Stone, an artist living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been creating art for most of my life and working as a designer/developer since the mid-90s.

I love the work that I do.

For over 25 years, I’ve been solving problems, working to narrow the gap between humans and tech, and building lasting relationships that I still have today. I enjoy making the complex appear simple and creating emotional connections with the people who use the products I create.

And I have fun.

I create my artwork solely for the process itself and try not to worry about the finished piece.

I rarely describe the meaning behind my art — I prefer my work to be wide open for interpretation. The underlying purpose of a piece of art can evolve over time, but if I define a piece of artwork for someone, I might also prevent this evolution from happening and change how someone connects with the art.
