    Do NOT read "Furious" until you read this!

    When I read Kris Longknife:Furious, I wondered if I'd missed a book somewhere. I did. This one. Apparently some moron at the publishing company decided that it would be either chic, in a literary sense, or profitable (or both) to cut out the first 50 or so pages from "Furious" and make it into this. "Furious" is truly awful without reading this first.

    A grey tabby kit with pale blue eyes pads onto territory. She has no clan or mommy and the name that her old mommy gave her before she died is Echokit.

    Ebonywing hops up and bounds away from Whitetail.

    Brokenpath tosses an orange at his brother.

    Shadowleap dodges the orange and chases Spiderhiss and Brokenpath with a watermelon, cackling.

    Eclipsekit throws every imaginable food from her treetop perch, shouting "Yogurt! Cheese! Brocoli! MORE PIZZA!"
