Meet the Author

Allan R. May is an organized crime historian from Cleveland, Ohio. He began his writing career with a brief stint working for the dean of organized crime writers, Jerry Capeci, at his popular Gangland News website. He moved on to write for Rick Porello's AmericanMafia.com, Court TV's Crime Library, and CrimeMagazine.com. This is his third book. He has a personal library of nearly 900 books on the subject of organized crime.

    Mr. May's book is very well presented to his readers. In depth information on the accounts that seem to have made the Jungle Inn a famous hot spot for gamblers and hoodlums. I enjoyed reading it and recommend it to anyone interested in the history of gambling
