Editorial Reviews

Barbara Duree
Originally published in 1975, this is an authoritative, easy-to-use guide, by a practicing veterinarian, that covers all aspects of cat care. While the extensively revised new edition follows the same organization as before--with sections on cat anatomy, preventive medicine, diagnostic medicine, home medical care, breeding and reproduction, and choosing a veternarian--it emphasizes the many changes that have occurred in veterinary medicine and provides information about feline nutrition and such new diseases as FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). With 100 new drawings by Pat Stewart.
