Overview

At the time of the Revolution, Wenham, Massachusetts had a population of about 700. Two hundred twenty-two men and boys fought on behalf of the town. Most were residents of Wenham but some were residents of neighboring towns.

Wenham Soldiers & Sailors in the Revolution provides genealogical identification and service records of each of Wenham's 222 servicemen. It is a companion to Wenham in the Revolution, which tells the story of how our town responded to the events of the period.

About the Author

Robert Corcoran is the author of several books on different aspects of Wenham, Massachusetts' colonial-period history. Corcoran is a resident of Wenham; clerk and co-historian at First Church in Wenham (Congregational); and a former vice-chair of the Wenham Historic District Commission.
