I thought this book was great. I really like werewolf books. This wasn't as good as other werewolf books I've read but I still liked it. It could have been better though.

This book is about a boy named Grady, his friends, and family. Grady moved to a swamp in Florida. There is something really bad living in the swamp. People say that it is a werewolf. Grady and his friends find clues about the werewolf. This book kept me guessing untill the end. I really enjoyed this book. I hope you enjoy it, too.

It was a very boring day. Just like any old day in Werewolf Mountains. I'm usually a kid who gets to know this place really well but today,i'm not up for any adventures in the mountains. The place is very cold and windy and snowy. The best part about this place is that there is a gigantic cave made out of ice. The worst part, having to live in the cold, cold wilderness. With almost no food, it's very hard to live in the mountains. There are a few more people. None that l have met yet. Then l decided to go and see if l could make friends. Or A friend at least. I did find someone eventually. It was a boy. I went up to him and said." Hey what is your name?" The boy turned around and said." My name is gabriel but you can call me gabe. What is your name?"" My name is alexander but you can call me alex."" Do you wanna be friends?" I could not belive he wanted to be my friend." Uh, sure." Well we ended up having a snowball fight that lasted for hours. Then we built an igloo. Then finally we got called in for hot cocoa. Then we went outside again. We went back in the igloo we made. We stayed in there until night then we got called in for supper. And then we had to go to bed. Then l heard howls. But l just stayed asleep. The next morning, l went out to play with gabe. We brought hot chocolate in the igloo." It's like we're real eskimos." Said gabe we started another snowball fight. Unfortanitly, l lost. Then we had to go to bed. This time when l heard the howls l would go out to check it out. I heard howls. I went outside but the howls had stopped. So l went back inside and went back to bed. Then l heard the howls again. So i went back outside to check it out again. The howls stopped. That happend two more times. Them when l went out again the howls kept on going. The werewolf turned around. And then l noticed that face. Those sparkling blue eyes. The broad neck the thick eyebrows. The face belonged to gabe. But what if it is not gabe? I thought. Those sneakers they belonged to gabe. He howled and took a look at me. His mouth opened to reveal two rows of gleaming fangs. He drooled. Then snarling out his rage he dug his fangs into my shoulder." But dad,l saw everything. The wolf. Everything."" Alex, l do not understand." This full moon now reminds me of gabe. I will never forget him. He changed my life. Forever. I am climbing out my window now. I drop on the ground on all fours. I let out a howl of joy. I am ready to hunt. The end hope you liked it
