Book Review Outline Book title and author: Louis Lamoure Title of review: West of Dodge Number of stars (1 to 5): 4 out of 5 The writer starts out with a very good description of the terrain and then he moves to the people and describes them from head to toe from their cowboy hat to their cowboy boots. He also describes the town so good you can visualize it. Description and summary of main points The rising action start with a strange man riding in to town and a new sheriff get into a gunfight and the sheriff gets shot but he is still alive and right then. Well I'll let you read the rest. Overall the book is very good but there are other stories in it because this was just a short story the books other stories are just as good. From his much described writing to his dramatic conclusions His writing has kept me interested since the first page. Louis has written hundreds of westerns short stories and novels. Everything I have read of his I liked. I recommend this book to any one who likes westerns and western adventure. My final review is that it is one of my favorite books. I never wanted to stop reading. The gunfights and the frontier he describes everything with intriguing Detail. I would recommend this book to eight grade and up because of the level of his writing most all his his writing most all his book are great.
