This is an extremely attractive history of our beloved Mountaineers. I am a life-long, die-hard WVU fan, and I didn't know numerous facts and stories in this book. The artifacts and reproductions of old bowl programs, pennants, and historical documents are alone worth the price. It is a beautiful, intriguing volume chronicling the history of the football team from 1891 all the way up to the Meineke Car Care Bowl win at the end of the 2008 season, with rare photos etc. It is the best book on the West Virginia Mountaineers I have ever read.

Huge Disappointment!!! I order this book new from the Ebooks Barnes & Nobles has listed as a Christmas gift for my huge WVU fan husband... Don't! They say the book is new and it comes in and it clearly used! Had paid over $174 for new. Sent them an email telling them how I felt and no I'm sorry or concern at all. Just a it's fine if you return it. So now I have even more money in this book because they decided to send out something used instead new as advertised. Will never do business with them again. Also have pictures of how damaged the book with. Barnes and Nobles should be ashamed to have them listed on there site.

This is a special book for the life long/die hard WVU football fan. I would rate it 5 star, plus, plus. Great info along with unique presentation such as bowl game rosters. Great photographs.
