"There are many authors on the market now that endeavor to explain the ancient Chinese art of placement, feng shui. This author's detailed guidance stands out from the rest because it provides practical applications of feng shui principles to the Western world"

Looking for practical advice? Look here...

If you are looking for a guide that will give you practical advice that fits into a normal person's home, this book is the best one I have seen. I leave it on the coffee table, and I keep buying copies to replace it whenever someone borrows it.

    Useful Book

I've read several books on Feng Shui and this book by Terah Kathryn Collins is one of the best I've seen. It provides clear, concise information with practical suggestions to enhance your environment. I'm too much of a skeptic to say for sure that Feng Shui does all its proponents claim, but no one can argue that it's a good idea to get better organized and to be a good steward of your possessions. Reading this book helped put my feet firmly on the path toward those goals. That in itself is worthwhile and bound to help me get further down the path toward other goals as well.

    Great Guide for Beginners

This book opened my eyes to the reason some of my rooms were 'unappealing' to me. It helped me balance what I had, change what I needed to, remove what didn't belong, and create rooms that people love to be in. I get comments about how warm, comfortable and relaxing it is to come and visit our space. Amazing information, clear, easy to understand and to impliment.

Easy to read and great, complete information!

This book takes a thorough tour of all areas of your house and provides details and pictures on how to feng shui your home! There is also a lot of options and ideas on how to feng shui the most difficult home layouts. Great book!

Another Clear and Concise Book from Terah Kathryn Collins

This is the third book that I have read by Terah Kathryn Collins and they just keep getting better. Clear, concise, adapted to the realities of western living, i.e. some type of water in the back yard. She writes so encouragingly that I just want to keep reading and learning. Great Book.

    A very boring read

Good quality information, but could be better written. The information is presented in a dry, uninteresting manner that makes this book a very tough read. There are more interesting-to-read Feng Shui books out there with the same quality information. I wish I could get my money back. :-(
