Library Journal

The flavor of the Old West, wild and nostalgic, permeates the novellas in this diverse trio by some of the genre's favorite authors. A Southern miss comes to the wilds of Montana thinking she is about to be married, only to discover it was a ploy by her "fiancé's" parents to get their son married in Hart's heartwarming "Rocky Mountain Bride." A young woman hoping to find romance with one man at the annual Spring Fever Ball ends up in a compromising situation and is forced to wed another in Kate Bridges's tale of the Klondike Gold Rush, "Shotgun Vows." A widowed school teacher and a successful rancher who'd antagonized each other as children are reunited when she returns to Texas to teach in Charlene Sands's lively "Springville Wife." Varied settings and situations add interest to this enjoyable collection.

Meet the Author

Jillian Hart grew up on the original homestead where her family still lives, went to high school where Twin Peaks was filmed, earned an English degree, and has traveled extensively. When Jillian's not writing her stories, she reads, stops for café mochas, and hikes with her husband in the pine forests near their home in Washington State.

Growing up in the pretty farmland of Ontario, Canada, then later the Alberta prairies, Kate Bridges developed a love for wide-open spaces, country sunshine and the Rocky Mountains.

Storytelling has always been a part of Charlene Sands's life. As a young girl, she remembers sitting with her father in the evenings asking him to tell her a story.

    Great

Wonderful, sweet stories. All three were fantastic and all the characters were great! I especially love stories that include children.

    Steamy...

Even though the story lines were creative.. there was mild language and a few steamy love scenes... I wish the authors would have left both out..this would have been great christian romance reads! To say the least I am disappointed and because of the material will be deleting these :(

    Consistently Good!

Usually In these type of books where there are several authors at least one of the stories is weak and more or less filler. But these are all good. Worth the money.
