They also discover a top-secret file containing abandoned blueprints for a tiny, silver box that allows people to travel through time. When Gina corrects the scientist’s miscalculations, she finishes building the time machine and tapes it to the motorcycle. Suddenly, West and Gina are propelled into the past where they meet Albert Einstein.
With Einstein’s help, West and Gina travel to the future and discover the city of Atlantis. But when they try to travel back to the day before their parents were killed, the time machine malfunctions, and they arrive on the exact day of the accident. Time is running out, but the Atlantians may have a way to help save West and Gina’s parents …
I ordered this hard cover edition for the school library and it was checked-out by the students so much that I had to purchase two more. When I asked the students why they liked it so much they responded, "so many interesting things are going on with the timetravel, NASA agents and so on." So I as a school librarian highly recommend this novel. It wonderful when a librarian gets to see a book so in demand that we end up having a waiting list of students who want it when it comes back in. This is a true adventure book that will stand the test of time with students. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
I bought this book for my fifteen year old son and loved it. He said in many ways it was like the movie, ¿Back to the Future,¿ but a lot more fun. I am very please that I have finally purchased a book for him that he finally enjoyed reading. I bought many that my son just didn¿t want to read or would keep telling me, ¿I¿ll read it latter,¿ but he never did. With ¿West¿s Time Machine,¿ he couldn¿t put it down. This a truly a wonderful read and great opportunity to get your kids back into reading with something they really will enjoy. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
