Mara is a librarian who has been single for a long time. At work, Mara's co-workers were excited about a website called Dangerous Curves. The site is selective on who it matches and guarantees matching of hot sexy guys with curvy women. As silly as it seems, Mara decides to try out the site and was surprised when she got through. After filling out the information and nothing happens, Mara decides to go home. At home soaking in her bathtub, Mara receives a voice message that they found her match. One moment Mara is in her bathtub and then she finds herself naked and dripping wet in the lap of Arrian, a nymph king of Myria. Arrian has paid weavers to find him a human mate that he can choose as his queen. Arrian needs a human queen and an heir because of his past. Arrian also needs to convince Mara to stay and be his queen. This was not a bad read for me It was just ok. At times, the dialogues between Mara and Arrian seem cheesy and silly. It also irks me when Arrian would call Mara sweet thing throughout the book, for me it just didn't fit in the story. With a title like Wet, I think the author delivered an interesting story. Arrian was a very sexy nymph king as well as devoted to Mara. I felt so bad and sorry for him when he chooses to send Mara home. Mara was confused as she should be not being on her world. I also enjoyed the ending; I think it is sexy when an author can end a book on an intense, steamy, and sexy act of love. But even with that being said the book was still just ok. The book contains explicit and graphic sexual acts as well as voyeurism in a specific section of the book.
