This book is hot and steamy, but it's so much more than that. Kristina Knight has a wonderful way of revealing her characters and little by little as you get to know them, understand their motivations, fears, and desires, you are falling in love with them. I truly enjoyed reading about Monica and Trick and following their sometimes bumpy journey to their happily ever after. From page one I was hooked and every time I had to put the story down I couldn't help but think about the characters and the story until I could go back and start reading again.

I highly recommend this read. You'll love Kristina Knight's writing style, feel connected with her characters, and love Monica and Trick's romance.

Wow, good thing it wasn’t a roll in the hay, or Monica Witte and Trick Samuels would’ve set the barn on fire from the very first chapter! We are so very lucky to return to Texas’s own Double Diamond Ranch and enjoy the sparks that have such a great time flying around the Witte women. Third sister Monica is about to have her world turned on its head as she grapples with balancing want and need, until she discovers they both reside in the same place. The story is fun and captivating, Texas (of course) is fabulous, and Ms. Knight’s love for, and portrayal of Americana in the shape of a horse makes this reviewer want to cheer, then go for a trail ride. Well done.

    4.5 Star Review

In What a Texas Girl Dreams, Monica Witte has the life she wants just the way she wants it. She is out on the road as a barrel racer and libing independently from her family on her own  in Austin, every few months Monica goes home for a little while to be pampered and spend time with her family. But mainly she goes home to be close and get some attention from Trickett Samuels.

Trickett Samuels is happy living in Texas and he is so close to having his own practice, for when the current vet retires he will be taking over completely and the practice will be his. The only problem is Monica Witte. From the moment he met her she has been teasing him and leaving him dry. He had to resort to buying and using a punching bag to get rid of his frustrations.

Now due to an accident Monica has to return home with her horse Jinx. There is no better place to rehabilitate her horse than her family’s ranch. She is not willing to stay there permanently, but she will stay as long as she has to, to rehabilitate her horse. The only problem is that the man she cannot stop lusting after and the man she started a very secret affair with is now close at all times.

As Trick tries to help rehabilitate Jinx, he knows that he will not be able to race anymore and that is something that Monica will not take lightly. But he also needs to convince her to give them a chance, because while he is in with his whole heart she only wants to give him her body when he wants everything she has to give.

Monica will have to face her childhood traumas and realize that she is not a duplicate of her father and that she can have everything if she is willing to give everything in return. While Trick will have to learn that sometimes a little tough love is necessary to get through Monica’s defenses.

This book is hot , sweet and entertaining. The story starts with Monica and Trick starting an affair, but her running out on him the next morning. Something that she makes a habit of and makes sure to tell Trick that their affair is a secret that no one should know about, but when she is home for a long haul, how long can she stay away from Trick and still keep their affair a secret from everyone? Well that is something that will definitely entertain you as you read everything that happens in the journey Monica and Trick have to go through to get to their HEA.

Wonderful, Engaging end to the Texas Girl trilogy! I read and enjoyed the other 'Texas Girl' books, so I was excited to see the third. Ms. Knight has grown leaps and bounds as an author since the first one in the series came out last year. That's not to say that the others aren't excellent, because they are, but What a Texas Girl Dreams is superb. From the prologue, I was drawn into Monica and Trick's sexy relationship, and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Ms. Knight has a wonderful, engaging style that pulls the reader into the story and doesn't let go until the end. Her characters are interesting and believable, the story is hot, and her writing flows so that you sometimes forget that you haven't moved from your spot in the last hour. All in all, What a Texas Girl Dreams is an excellent story and a great way to wrap up the series. A+
