Overview

What Annoys Jeff this Week evolved out of a bloggers attempt to post something interesting on what was then the slowest day of the week. After a few appearances, it ended up becoming the blog’s most popular feature and has taken on a life of its own.

Covering everything from politics to religion to work and all the stupid people that we all meet on a daily basis, What Annoys Jeff this Week takes on all comers. As much a form of therapy as a writing exercise, these posts encourage everyone to just go ahead and say what’s on their mind. It probably won’t change anything, but it will definitely make you feel better.

Jeffrey Tharp was born and raised a proud son of Maryland. Earning a bachelor's degree in social science from Frostburg State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix, he has worked as an entry level cog in corporate machines as well as in county, state, and federal governments as a line employee and supervisor over the course of his career. His work has taken him throughout Maryland and to Petersburg, Virginia; The Dalles, Oregon; Washington, DC; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Memphis, Tennessee. He currently lives in Cecil County, Maryland.
