Judy Barrett is the author of What Makes Heirloom Vegetables So Great? (Texas A&M University Press, 2010) and Recipes from and for the Garden (Texas A&M University Press, 2012). The former editor and publisher of the organic gardening magazine Homegrown, she blogs at HomegrownTexas.com and is a frequent speaker at gardening events and conferences.
