Chapter OneHi, friends. My name is Kale. I am four years old. Mom and Dad say I am getting big, But I still have room to grow.
I have so many things to do and learn and see. I am going to figure out just what they might be. My grammy says I can be anything I choose to be: A doctor, a lawyer, or an Indian chief.
So when I get ready for my day out, I just know it will be fun. I have decided to see what it would be like If I were ... the sun.
If I were the sun, I would stretch out my arms as if they were rays. Boy, is this going to be a bright day. When I start the morning, the moon will run away, And I will wake the roosters so they can crow today.
I can shine really high or even down low. Wow! I can even melt the snow.
