    A Good Sourcebook

    This book is a well written and easy to understand.It is a good source for understanding what Judaism is without overwhelming the reader with a lot of information. However, I believe at points over-simplifies the topics presented and has a tendancy to present a lot of infomation without giving much detail.I would recommend this book as a good starting point for learning about Judaism but I do feel other books on the topic do just as well, if not a better job.

    The definitive book on Judaism for non-Jews

    I've read several other books to learn more about Judaism but none of them come nearly as close as this! I found it to be the greatest resource book written at the most basic level or, Judaism 101. One or two charts/maps of Europe/Asia showing where the Ashkenazim and Sephardic Jews were from would be great in the next edition. Regardless, it's great!
