There are a few points that are not correct, such as saturated fats being unnatural and found in processed foods. What the author was looking for was trans fats. Saturated fats are generally from animal sources, like meat and dairy, and are solid at room temperture.
But if you are starting from square one, this would not be a bad place to begin. Keep in mind the author doesn't seem well versed in many aspects of wellness. But there is some decent general good advice. Not written great, with a few gramatical errors, but I think most of the concepts are sound.
