Gr 3-6-- A collection of questions sent to Highlights for Children over an unspecified period, answered by science editor Myers. The questions are not unusual, and are competently answered. While there is some vague relationship between one entry and the next, there's no chapter organization or other guide to help readers see the logic employed. The illustrations are of average quality, and in a variety of styles from cartoon to airbrush. The names and hometowns of the children who wrote in are included, a feature that may add authenticity but is mostly superfluous and distracting. The final page has a topical index with entries such as: ``Airplanes, Pages 50, 54.''
