I am a mom to four, who stays at home (and chose to breastfeed). If this doesn't describe you in some way, I would stay clear of this book. The author very generously and kindly attempts to make no judgments and regards all mothers' choices as equally acceptable. However, the material doesn't make sense if one was a non-breastfeeding at work mom. Even I found some parts a bit over-kill- like when moms that were quoted confessed to daydreaming and staring out to space for hours. The author puts a happy spin on everything these mothers did (or didn't do). In my opinion, they just sounded incrediblt depressed and miserable. It was sweet on the author's part to be so supportive of all moms, but it was a real stretch at times. I did enjoy some insights from this book, overall worth reading. Was this review helpful?
