What the L?

Being a lesbian is one of the most interesting things I have ever chosen to do. I love my country and I hate what's happening. I mean "What the L ?" not in a pessimistic, shocked and awed, bug-eyed, incredulous, leaving-the-country, head-shakingly sad, somebody-always-ends-up-in-fears recitation of a slimily slicked series of unfortunate current events tone, but rather, in a buoyant, smart-ass, get-a-load-of-this, relentlessly optimistic, might-as-well-live "What the L?" tone. A leap of faith, if you will. And I will.
