This is a must-read for any parent of a brain-injured child. It gives you real hope and very logical reasoning for all of the author's discoveries and recommendations. You get a lot of history and back-story, but that information becomes essential to your understanding of your child's brain. I wished the book provided a bigger pool of suggestions and activities, but it does give you the information you need to get started. I thought this book might be a little depressing but it is definitely not. It is so motivating, interesting, and very easy to read! Please, please read this book if you are looking for answers and believe there is something you can be doing to change your child's life. Good luck to you!

BEYOND 5 STARS. This is a most amazing book. It tells me what I need to know and do so that my 'vegtable' like grand daughter can work and develope as a normal child. She is already crawling which 'Doctors said was impossiable. See also other Glen Dorman books covering child development in other areas. He is not a 'flash by' theory but over thirty years of treatments, that work. I receive nothing for this review except the satisfaction of knowing that it might help someone else. It is very easy reading- not technical. Stephen Klassy Belton TX.
