A book that can truly help you prepare for the worst!

I have lived in Florida for 42 years, and been thru every storm we've faced. Never before have I felt as though I've been completely prepared. Thanks to Mr. Lawrences' simple statements, and wonderful checklists, I now know I have everything I need! His idea of a 'go bag' would have saved me time and trouble last year, when I had to evacuate in the middle of the worst of Wilma. The loss of my roof forced me from my home with nothing but the wet clothes on my back. Thanks to this book, that will not happen to my family ever again.

A Guide For The Times We Live In Today

An excellent approach to guiding those to want to be prepared in the right direction. It was a very easy read with checklists after each chapter which make the idea of having a preparedness package for the family realistic. Individual chapters on food, water and shelter precede the well researched chapters on the natural and man-made threats faced by American families each day. A MUST READ if you realize the government can't possibly meet everyone's individual needs after any disaster. NICE TOUCH: PROCEEDS FROM THE BOOK APPARANTLY GO TO HELP DISASTER VICTIMS IN THE U.S.
