    Best book for new dads

Let's face it Dads-to-be, Your wife is pregnant. Your life is about to change forever. Everybody has advice about how you need to support the love of your life. You want to be involved, but it is overwhelming and quite a bit scary. You don't want to hear that every expert thinks you are doing everything wrong. Your wife's hormone-induced mood swings are stressful enough as it is. You need to laugh. Your wife grew up playing house, playing with dolls and getting ready for this moment. You chased dragons while jumping your bike from really big ramps. This book reminds us that fatherhood is just another really big ramp and you've already started down the hill. Bonzai!

    What a Copout!

If you are looking for a book that will help your husband understand what you are going through this is not the book. It makes fun of all the serious things going on durring pregnancy and after birth, while focusing on how a new baby will 'destroy' both your relationship with your husband and your husband's life. I do not recomind this book to any exspecting parent.

    waste of money and time

I bought this book for my husband and I was really disappointed that it has no good advice whatsoever. It actually borders on the offensive and stupid. There's actually a side bar suggestion that the father 'drink and smoke for 2, since the mom can't' I realize it'a 'joke' but I really wanted a book to help my husband understand what's going on with his baby, and this book just trots out the same tired old stereotypes of bossy, hormonal nags.

    My Hubby Loved It!

I bought this for my hubby from a suggestion from my best friend who had recently purchased it for her hubby. She was right; they both ended up not only talking about it at the monthly card club, but also at the park with some of the other dads. It's creative and funny -- and makes them feel more of a part of the whole pregnancy process. After the babies were born, we bought a few other books that have been pure life savers that I would recommend to others as their precious babies grow into rug rats like ours: The Happiest Toddler on the Block, by Harvey Karp, and Mommy-CEO, by Jodie Lynn. We enjoyed them all and have shared them with many. All three are excellent reads and must haves, especially with more than one child (and now we are happily pregnant again).

    Every Husband Needs One!

Everything is all for the new mom at this stage and the dads seem to be in the background. I get this book for all my sons and son-in-laws when they find out they are going to be fathers. It is fun and easy to read and gives some great advise for new daddies.

What every expectant father should read -- FUNNY

I think this book helps get the expectant father involved in what is going on in a funny way. My husband loved it and we have passed on to friends. A must buy!

    Quite humorous

I laughed out loud. Reading 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' first is not required to enjoy this great parody. I'm sending copies to my brothers.
