Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

For millions of Americans, the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor now seems as remote as the Battle of Gettysburg or the Battle of Bunker Hill. In fact, there are so few witnesses alive that the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association decided to close down more than a year ago. This illustrated children's book describes how the secret, well-planned Japanese aerial bombardment unfolded and how it sparked our nation's entry in World War II. A gripping real-life narrative of surprise, heroism, loss, and resolve.

I like this book because of the big ships and how the cannons are made.  I liked learning about Pearl Harbor. It told about how the Japanese bombed America.  I liked the pictures of Pearl Harbor.
