Martina Newberry's first published book, was a memoir: Lima Beans and City Chicken: Stories From the Open Hearth, published by E.P. Dutton and Co., 1988. She was awarded residencies at Yaddo Colony for the Arts, Djerassi Colony for the Arts, and Anderson Center for the Arts. Newberry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize in Poetry. She was included in Ascent Aspirations' first hard-copy anthology and has been widely published in many literary magazines. Her most recent books are: Perhaps You Could Breathe For Me, and Late Night Radio.
