    Awesome

This book was crazy good. It starts out with a girl named Roxy scoring the winning touch down for a football game againts packs. As shes walking out from the locker room sh ehears Baydon talk to some other guys about getting the Alphas son Blaze not to tell her he was her he was her mate in 2 days on her 18th birthday. Later on we find out this is because Baydon has great fellings for Roxy and will do ANYTHING to keep her safe. At her 18th birthday party a lot of stuff ruin the party. She had to reject her mate for the good of her pack, which resulted in her wolf trying to shut down her body to get her to accept him. Through this process she passed out and Blaze and Baydon get in a fist fight which only stops short of Baydons' death because Roxy was watching and Blaze didn't want her to see him like that so her ran back to her room to talk to her. Once he gets there everyone else leaves so the can talk and after she continually rejects him his wolf takes over and he trys to forcefully mate her. Mean while Baydon is at a neighboring packs territory trying to set up a arranged mating with the Alphas daughter Emily and succesfully got him to think of ways to get it set up. On his way back he hears Roxy screaming and gets there just in time to stop Blaze from making her his mate. After Baydon fights off Blaze Baydon tells Roxys dad that he and Roxy can go away for a few weeks and come back after Blaze has calmed down. Her dad agrees and they drive to a town not to far away to stay for a while and things get a little heated between the two. In the end all ends up the way you hoped it would.
I would have to say this was one of the best books I have read in a long time. Through out this book Roxy and Blaze have their inner beasts to fight to find true love weather with each other or those close to them you'll have to read the book to find out. I will strongly sudgest this to any one who would like to read a great paranormal romance that bares little to no resemblace to Twilight. At the risk of reiterating this was a great book and would take at least a few hours of time. It was a constant page turner and i just read though it as quickly as possible. Can't wait for the sequal and more from this author.

    no four stares

the book was well done but was lacking as i felt roxy let baydon lead her to belive she was not fit to lead a pack as luna and when she rejected blaze i was surprisd the pack leader and her dad didnot step in to find out why. then when she blacked out her dad or mom shoud have told her what was going to happen if she rejected blaze then the alpha and her dad sent her away with baydon. and when she found out what baydon had done she runs off and blacks out.she should have gone home to heare blaze out and see if he was as bad or if his wolf was just mad at being rejected and insulted by her kissing baydon,o well not enough ending.

    :)

Not to bad. All in all i would say it is worth reading. Im a little sad that we werent told what happened after the kiss between Roxie and Blitz. I think that it would have been nice to know if there was something there or not. as well as not knowing what the dream ment is kind of another question. Other then that its not a bad book.

    Didnt pan out

There are some interesting ideas and creative aspects to this story but it doesn't come together. Characters seem to be very understood and present while involved and then anexed and forgotten when the author feels like it. A few very strong scenes and then months of summed up moments in a paragraph. The werewolf elements seemed very original and tgen were completly ignored. I was interested until the end and then was so disappointed that it was left incomplete. I really wanted to see consequences and the mysterious wolf lore explained and it seems they were just put in as crutches to move the story along.

    Couldn't Finish

It's not so much that this book is YA but that the writing is so very immature. The subject matter and storyline had great potential. The author also has a lot of potential. I will be looking for her work in a few years.

Eh, not impressed... Being a fan of werewolf stories and novel

    Eh, not impressed...

Being a fan of werewolf stories and novels, I was excited to read a book with a female werewolf lead.  I was hoping to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the Nighshade series, by Andrea Cremer.  Unfortunately, I didn't care for this book that much.

The lead character, Roxy (which is a name that, I'm sorry, just personally makes me shutter...) seems to be overly conflicted. and not as down-to-earth or as tough as you'd typically hope a werewolf to be.  Granted, she's a teen girl, but I was hoping for a little more tough-girl, and a little less drama-queen.

The lead guy was irritating, although he fit the idea/image of a werewolf alpha-to-be.  In truth, I'm not really sure why Roxy made the choice she did, because I liked him a whole lot more than the beta-wolf.  It seemed like the drama she created, was all in her head, and she ended up going through a whole lot of hardships because of it.

The plot, as a whole, seemed a little shallow, and didn't seem very solid or well-founded.  It seemed very much like an emotion-filled daydream of a teen girl, but not realistic or very believable.  The last quarter of the book was your typical "keep them guessing til the last line" kind of thing, which was probably my favorite part of the book.  It had the most thought and creativity put into it, and while it's not the ending I would have chosen, it's the only thing that kept me from completely regretting reading this book.

Bottom line: it's not my favorite story, and while it's not atrocious, this isn't a book I'll read again.  My recommendation would come with hesitancy, and I'd really only recommend to people who love werewolf stories enough to overlook the shaky plot.
